I'm not sure i got that. What do you mean exactly?
But it is also my belief that if someone cares for their material enough to remake it after 20 years, there is a chance he'll do better now than then
All those rerecordings usually come out at least 10 years after the originals, which can be considered "much time" as well. Most of them fail miserably imo. And if they don't fail, they are just "OK", at best. So, the chances for doing it better are indeed very very small, that's what experience at least has showed me. It's not among my priorities to check out the "Hell" reunion/rerecorded tracks, even though i like the old material a lot.
And the boxed set, the time will come, as it always does. Good Heavy Metal never is forgotten forever.
I hope so!
10 years ago I was discussing progressive metal in irc with some greeks and one of them mentioned Mayfair and I didn't check them out until now.
Mayfair are Gods.

I didn't explain this much, did I? Hm let's just say that you can quickly sever ties to bad material, it doesn't have to have any weight on you. There's always good things to turn your gaze to, disappointment requires some sort of personal investment, and I have none towards HELL!

About Mayfair, it's so early to tell (I've listened to Behind 6 times today!) but I think if you ask me again in a year it'll be one of my all-time favourite albums from the 90's. We're searching for the demo, btw!

I intentionally didn't get all MP3's because of the boxset.
Yeah, same here. And when I requested them in Poisonoise, no one posted them. One guy said he didn't want to post them because the box set is coming out (even though it's not, and if it is, it won't be out for at least two or three years). But he was kind enough to post Race Against Time's demo.

I couldn't find the "land of the living dead" lyrics on metal-archives, is there anyone who could put them there (or here?)

Thanks.

I see them all around me.
You must see them too.
Chose your path with care, or youll become,
A victim of the fools.

Mind your step, watch where you tread
Or youll be pulled inside
Theyll suck out your humanity, 'till they bleed you dry!
Here we go!

We're all living, in the land of the living dead
We're all living, in the land of the living dead
Youll find no solace
The machine never stops
Hunting you like a zombie
Stalking you 'till you drop!

Be on your guard at all times,
Your safe neither day or night.
If you find yourself sorrounded, dont give in-
Fight! Fight! Fight!

They almost had me once or twice.
I almost cant avoid (this is the only part sounds really weird to me)
I was lucky to escape,
With the skin of my bare teeth!

We're all living, in the land of the living dead
We're all living, in the land of the living dead
Youll find no solace
The machine never stops
Hunting you like a zombie
Stalking you 'till you drop!

All before thier time,
before they reached thier prime.
They lost the joy of life,
Beware! Your next in line!

Dont rely on past beliefs alone,
to keep your standards.
Rule that you abandon,
can become your own commandments.

We're all living, in the land of the living dead
We're all living, in the land of the living dead
Youll find no solace
The machine never stops
Hunting you like a zombie
Stalking you 'till you-
We're all living, in the land of the living dead
We're all living, in the land of the living dead
We're all living, in the land of the living-
We're all living, in the land of the living-
We're all living, in the land of the living-
We're all living, in the land of the living-
Dead!

I really worship the lyrics for Blasphemy & the Master, really hallucinating and twisted hellvisions, hornshaped shadows and giant goats. aarrgghh, and what a song !!
