As for new releases, I'm looking forward to new ones from Wintersun, Stormwarrior, Asmegin, Eluveitie, Excelsis, Hollenthon and Septic Flesh, but I doubt anyone else here would want to hear most of those.
What label are those coming out on?

I also hope it appears on vinyl.
It should be also released as a triple vinyl!

Did you know Pungent Stench has split up again? I was looking forward to their new record, thinkting that maybe this one would be better than the previous two, but I don't know if it's gonna be released.

Escape Music is putting out the Cloven Hoof, and Auburn Records is putting out the Manimals. I have no idea when they'll be released. Hopefully sometime in 2008!

The CH releases should've been out in the first half of 2007... I just hope it's still coming...

I've never heard a single Pungent Stench record so I wouldn't know how to feel about that. I've heard they're worthwhile from various sources but nobody has pointed me towards a difinite album to start.

I would say you start with For God Your Soul... For Me Your Flesh, or Been Caught Buttering, the latter being possibly their greatest. If you can get your hands on Praise The Names Of The Musical Assasins, which is a compilation of their pre-LP stuff along with other rarities, that's a very good start too.

Who' s doing the Sweet Savage anthology? I bought the CDRs from Trevor Fleming on eBay. When I asked about an official reissue he said it would never happen because there was no money in it for them.

You can't go wrong with their early stuff. The song "For God Your Soul...For Me Your Flesh" is immense, one of their best.
