Have you heard the WREST LP Dan or was it a blind purchase? One of the wimpiest italian metal albums IMHO.

Yeah, I had a quick listen to WREST before I bought it. I thought they were ok. 'Ryche-like "US Metal" w/ the odd thrash riff thrown in.

It was you that was bidding on it? Sorry about that. I usually stay away from stuff that people I know are bidding on just out of general courtesy.sovdat wrote:Ahhh, so you were the one who outbid meSideShow wrote:Verwaint - It Now Remains For Us To Explain![]()
I won Gimcrack - Opinions from the same seller.
Ah well, can't do anything about it now!

The seller in question is one of the few Swedes who deals internationally with really rare Metal on a professional level (even if he's more into punk himself), so every once in a while a top-rarity turns up in his boxes. The "regular" rarities are mostly overpriced but some times you can make a great deal on the really obscure stuff.Fils Du Metal wrote:absolutely unbelievable....The dig out master did strike again....Wow....OLD YRON is an original, yes. It sounds strange. But do such rare items or especially such an Italian metal collection find their way to the middle of nowhere in Scandinavia??
Lucky bastard...
I paid about €280 for all 7 italianos, half of it by trade.
Btw, has anyone seen that BACKFIRE lp before? It was totally new to me. Good "German" Metal w/ bad fem vox, 300 copies made according to MA. (Not the best source I guess...)
Edit:
That seller also had a couple of Italian releases I've never seen anywhere before, among them 2 albums on the mysterious Video Star label. One MLP by a band called WIRUS and one w/ a Thrash band I'm afraid I forgot the name of. They were relatively cheap, but unfortunately I had to save my cash for the upcoming KIT weekend.
