Great Dan, looking forward to it! About the IMPULSE "Gladiator" I can surely rip it, the only problem is that my copy has several scratches and therefore it skips in some tracks. Perhaps someone else has a better copy?

I have a good copy on CD-R so I can upload that and save you from the hassle of ripping in from the vinyl :D

I believe these are considered demos by the band that aren't for sale any longer as far as I can tell but they are entered in metal archives as full length releases.

OK i will upload their EP if you want.

Rob:I have never seen a band mentioned Black Dragon from Germany with a LP from 82 are you sure it is heavy metal?As we know independent metal bands in Germany started releasing Lps from 84 and on.

Oh yes it exists, I heard this record around 2000 the 2nd time I was in Germany. It has that great early metal sound and is of course a private release.

I have a good rip of the PHOENIX RISING mlp but it's really nothing special. Dated, late 70's-style HR. Maybe 1 or 2 decent cuts, quite a diverse sound but hardly "prime-era" NWOBHM.
