Hello sovdat!

I'm new to the board and discovered it because I was doing a Google search on Broken Man (old friends of mine) and discovered this particular thread: http://heartofmetal.niceboard.com/rip-f ... 36-800.htm

Randy, the lead vocalist, was once my roommate in Hawai'i and a very good friend of mine. In fact, their CD was recorded while he and I were roommates. I knew the other guys, too. They were Hawaii's most popular metal band.

Anyway, if I remember correctly, Broken Man did have a vinyl e.p. But they also released a CD in 1995 entitled Broken Man on 808 Records. It features six songs. The cover has a fiery, yellow and orange background with the image of Michelangelo's "Pieta" statue in the foreground.

Currently, I am trying to track down Randy or the other members of Broken Man that are still in Hawai'i to see if: 1) they are still playing, despite the fact that Randy- the vocalist- left the band and Hawai'i, 2) any of the members still have any copies of their CD available for sale.

/.../

The CD was sort of an e.p/demo but of great quality and was recorded at a studio, so its not one of those do-it-yourself, 8 track mixing board, type of things.

Two pics I thought were kinda cool. One is the three vinyl pressings of Lightning to the Nations (white album, happy face pressing, wolfe pressing), and the other is my Armoured Angel collection.

Nice AA collection, great band! Great guys too!!!

You don't have the original demo's??

Interesting fact (in case you weren't aware) ...the unreleased '95 demo was recorded in New Zealand & produced by Jaz Coleman (Killing Joke)

I had no idea that Ratrace is rare. Too bad it's a horrible album. :(
