I'm confused, what I got is "Only Thrash...But Thrash!!" Demo by Genoa (it says so on the front cover), but it has written "Limited Edition Black Tape - Not Demo" everywhere while having the exact tracklist from the Black Tape Demo 1988 on metal archives (it was recorded 1988 as well according to the info written in it)
It's a black Pro glossy cover partly wrapped around the case to fit in the Black Tape label
And casual Tape with professional labels

This error is made by many people, most think it's two different demos, it's indeed the same demo !

If any member wishes to upload another Japanese Metal album that's not been posted here yet is requested to start a separate thread since this one has become way too chaotic with dozens of links and not easily browsable.
However, you can still make comments or discuss about the albums already posted here and you can also make a reupload request for a dead link, but new Japanese Metal uploads have to posted on their own thread from now on/Mod.

But its actually is not a demo. they wanted to make it clear that its a pro produced cassette album. I remember seeing some flyers for it at my friends house in Japan.
Genoa does have some demotapes out there but they are really hard to find.

Actually i have a lot of cassette only albums by some japanese punk and metal bands. it was pretty common back in the day.

I like the black tape gimmick with the special format inlay and black labels
What does the 1,500 mean by the way? it's not really clear. I suppose it's the limitation?
