No one mentioned those horribad groove era Flotsam and Jetsam albums after No Place For Disgrace. But all of my why goes to Annihilator's Remains, it just makes me puke.

Yeah those F&J albums like "Cuatro" are not even worth mentioning. I don't deem those thrash albums at all. "Confused sort of metal" is the most I'd go on those

Cuatro and Drift don't remotely try to be thrash (well, maybe on a couple of songs sort of) but for glossy mainstream-oriented metal they're at least well done. I'd much rather listen to those, along with a lot of the groove/"grunge", than some of the truly uninspired and dire thrash out there.

I'm probably the only person in the forum that I like Acid Reign.
But I agree with most of your posts so I'll only add:
Sacred Reich - Heal
Whiplash - Cult of One
My Mother, she told me off today and so I killed her.
But not really, she is still alive inside my head .

I can't believe what I'm reading...
Onto the topic: I think the latest Forbidden album with its groove and emocore influences is quite hard to beat!
90% of albums by the current crop of retro-thrash bands are crap too.

It is great thrash album, unfortunately the production ruined it big time.

I'll admit this one is pretty bad, it sits on my shelf but it seems its not even worth the effort to get rid of it haha

No way! Great album, and they're not really a thrash band anyway.
