Dan: I suppose you could get up to $40 for first Atheist, maybe more or in other words "everything's possible on ebay".

Humus: If my memory serves right then the first musical CDs came out in 1982. No idea about that Trust CD.

I thought 1983?

What reasonably known albums were released on CD back in '82?

Interesting article.

The earliest CD I have is from '83 as well...

I think the first 'rock/pop' CD ever released was Dire Straits-Brothers In Arms??
Well at least I think it was the first one to go number one all over the world?

Seriously?!

I don't think this guy will go for that, but if anyone else here offers me $200 in trade for it, he can have it in no time.

I don't keep up w/ cd values as much as others hereabouts, but that seems high for Suffering Hour. This summer some copies on ebay were struggling to maintain the $100 mark.

Fuckin' Death was sold by Nuclear Blast on LP and CD for 1 DeutschMark back in late 90es, and they couldn't get rid of the stuff. Wonder if they dumped parts of their stock into the trash.

Yes, that one was sold for $240 on Gemm years and years ago, the last ebay copy - on German ebay with punchole in barcode went for $220+, and I know for some copies in the $200 - $300 range as well. Nightsblood, are you sure that they were original Restless / Metal Blade copies, or the Axis bootleg? I saw that one for $100 on ebay as well.
