LethylSteel wrote:You should have taken the possibility to get that copy Rob. You'll never see a copy that soon again and I think even if you didn't like it you can re-sell it easily. The Facebook account says even released in 1992. That sounds better for a Metal album than 1994.

Has anyone heard either of these? I have no idea if the prices are reasonable or ridiculous, I just thought they looked interesting, but looks can be decieving

Does it exist on vinyl?
Can't remember ever seeing this one. Sander should know if it exists, but I doubt it.

I'm not sure about this, I have to admit.
Perhaps it was recorded in 1988 but not released before 200?, that's why I'm asking here.

Maybe someone of the eastern countries do know more about that?

Is there a bootleg of Ashbury - Endless Skies LP? If yes, how do I tell it apart from the original?

I don't think so... Not sure about today but last year you could still buy them from the band, apparently they had some copies sitting around all those years. I could be wrong, but that's my understanding, and explains why the price has dropped.

Alright. I got a little worried when I saw the amount of sealed copies sold lately.

Yep, still available from the band here:

http://www.ashburyonline.com/ashbury_al ... hp?p_ref=3

The price seems a bit optimistic, I'm sure at first they sold quite a few, but when you introduce a "few dozen new original, sealed copies" of a rare record into the wild, you're eventually going to have to compensate the price for the sudden lack in demand for what was previously a "MEGA-RAR" LP.

Thanks for the link, though it seems a tad expensive for today.

Well actually it's the other way round, the first buch of copies were sold for 20$ less!

They actually did. A long time ago Ashbury was a $300 record but Jim or John found copies (if i remember correctly). Mr. Haupt can provide us more historic info.

Can anyone pull out their copy of Medieval-Medieval Kills! LP and check the matrix etching? I have a test press and it doesn't match the official release's catalog number (which I don't have to check against) of NRR-34 but has NRR-37 instead which is a Deadly Blessing LP apparently. The music is correct however, just wondering if I have a rejected test or something basically.

thanks
