Ah.. forgot about those. Will investigate. I recently asked permission from Peter Ott to use his Rock Brigade-list to make my own, so that one will soon be added too.

About the DS CD-stuff, I recieved a list of most of them from Matthias Wulf and I might add them later. Unless Mr. Ott wanna use it? I'll ask him..

...and it holds some truth too! Both ZYX Metal and Discotto Metal are prime examples of major labels "trying out" this new hip thing called Heavy Metal, signes/lincenses some random bands, doesn't get their money back, folds and continue w/ the same old commercial crap.

yeah it is a classic to me, best record on the label, some of the others like Nephastus I remember being excellent too.

There seem to be a Sterling Cooke Force seven-incher on Ebony from 1985 containing one exclusive song. All according to his own website (it's also in the Metal Archives). No number found.

Never heard of. A deleted pressing? Test pressing only? If you look at the serial #'s there's only one "free slot" in the known Ebony discog and that's EBON 43, around 1986-87. As the saying goes: Pics or it didn't happen!

Living Death - Protected From Reality was also released on CD by AAARRG under the same year/CAT Number.

Candlemass - Ancient Dreams CD version on Active has the CAT Number ATV7.

I thought that Heir Apparent - Graceful Inheritance was released in 1986?

Any how the Black Dragon CD version was released that year under the same CAT Number.

Lars Eric Mattson - Eternity was released on CD by Black Dragon under the same year/CAT Number.

Manilla Road - Out Of The Abyss was released on CD by Black Dragon under the same year/CAT Number.

Druid - Vampire Cult was released on CD by Black Dragon under the same year/CAT Number.

Lars Eric Mattson - No Surrender was released on CD by Black Dragon under the same year/CAT Number.

St. Elmo's Fire - Powerdrive was released on CD by Black Dragon under the same year/CAT Number.

Also, all the earlier Combat Records CD releases contain different CAT Numbers starting with the typical "88561" prefix but are from the same release years. If you want the correct CD CAT numbers let me know.

Exumer - Possessed By Fire CD version was released by Scratch with the CAT Number: 880 529

Tyrant - Ruling The World CD version on Scratch has the CAT Number: 885 182 919

High Tension - Masters Of Madness CD version was actually released on Scratch not Hot Blood under that same CAT Number.

Darkness - Defenders Of Justice CD version was actually released on Scratch not Tales Of Thrash under that same CAT Number.

Necronomicon - Escalation CD version was actually released on Scratch not Tales Of Thrash under that same CAT Number.

Cloven Hoof - A Sultan's Ransom CD version was actually not released by Heavy Metal Records. It was released by FM Revolver Records with that same Heavy Metal Records CAT Number.

Marshall Law - S/T CD version has the CAT Number of: HMR XD 138

Slammer - Insanity Addicts EP CD version has the CAT Number of: Heavy XD 66

Atom Seed - Get In Line CD version has the CAT Number: HMR XD 163 and has different cover artwork.

Slammer - Nightmare Scenario CD version has the CAT Number: HMR XD 170

Snowblind - S/T album in the Mausoleum catelog isn't Metal, it's AOR/Hardrock

Tails Blue - Brainwash album in the Mausoleum catelog isn't Metal it's AOR/Hardrock

Escape - S/T was released by Metal Enterprises on CD in the same year with the same CAT Number.

Dream Death - Journey Into Mystery CD version was released by New Renaissance under the same year/CAT Number.

Blood Feast - Chopping Block Blues was never released on CD by New Renaissance, but by Colossal which has it's ties to New Renaissance but is not the same label.

Amulance - Feel The Pain only exists on CD from New Renaissance as a co-release from SPV.

Steel Fury - Lesser Of Two Evils only exists on CD from New Renaissance as a co-release from SPV.

85-9804 Indestroy Indestroy/Senseless Theories CD 1989 This release under the New Renaissance catelog has the Senseless Theories album cover.

N 0038 Rage Reign Of Fear LP/CD 1986 CD version was released in 1989.

N 0046 Tankard Zombie Attac LP/CD 1986 CD version was released in 1988 / you missed the "K" in attack.

N 0073 Rage Execution Guaranteed LP/CD 1987 CD version was released in 1989.

N 0075 Coroner R.I.P. LP/CD 1987 CD version was released in 1989.

N 0116 Helloween Dr Stein 7"/12" 1988 Also released as a 3" CD with CAT Number: N 0116-53

N 0143 London Playa Del Rock LP/CD 1989 Released on CD under the name of "D'Priest" with the CAT Number: 4833-2-U
