I don't have any Thai records, what can you recommend of those?
Uncompromising war on metallic modernism under the dictatorship of The Corroseum.

ok, thanksLethylSteel wrote:First 2 Hi-Rock albums, the rest is only for die-hard collectors who need everything just to have it!
I always thought that Hi-Rock was boring pop rock. But after i read that you recommend the first 2 LPs, i searched more. Can you tell me if this song is from one of the LPs you recommend :LethylSteel wrote:First 2 Hi-Rock albums, the rest is only for die-hard collectors who need everything just to have it!
I don't have speakers and I don't see the song title. However, "recommendation" isn't really correct. But the first 2 Hi-Rock LP's are the best and most Metal LP's from Thailand besides Young Blood who also had some crazy Thrash tunes on the LP. It's ALL strange stuff for us Europeans. The soft language, the music similar to the malay stuff - 3 Metal songs and the rest mainly ballads. For those who want real Metal I wouldn't recommend any Thailand vinyls, instead download from the www and listen first. Some of those LP's I remember went for 1000 DM in pre-internet times in private hands. Nowadays thru ebay it's easier to find at least the Hi-Rock stuff but it's seriously nothing for beginners or Metal collectors. You need to have a faible for obscure Hard Rock/Metal, otherwise hands off and buy US Metal vinyls.chatzial wrote:I always thought that Hi-Rock was boring pop rock. Hehe, I've seen 2 Hi-Rock LP's last year at ebay for 24,99 $ for each. Don't know if anyone bought them. The other LP's I've recieved from a pen pal from Bangkok who had a clue about what and where to find it. Otherwise if you like the majority of all the Malay LP's then you won't get problems with the Thai stuff either. But it's definitely not for "true" Metallers.chatzial wrote:Your answers keep puzzling meLethylSteel wrote: Nowadays thru ebay it's easier to find at least the Hi-Rock stuff but it's seriously nothing for beginners or Metal collectors. Very Nice collection!!! I have just 5 from your pic (OBLIVEION , VOYEUR , ST ELMOS FIRE , VENGEANCE and BAD AXE) . Just a few questions. Is ZEUS a band from New York ? And also what's the record on the left side of pic in the middle between DT ROXX and ARYON ? I know the rest of these.
