You should try it again John. For some strange reason it took me quite some time to get into it but now there's no way back; it's a metal-onslaught like nothing else, it slays the debut IMO and that seems quite impossible since the debut is already a classic.ION BRITTON wrote:Haven't heard it for a very long time, i didn't like it that much. The debut however is a classic. The Sentinel wrote:GRIFFIN: Protectors Of The Liar LP
What a crushing piece of music this is, a total blast of bonecrushing metal the way I like it most. I prefer this one above the first one, although the first one is a metalfest as well, GREAT BAND GRIFFIN WERE!!!!!

They were officially released on cd by SPV/Steamhammer on their "CD-MID-PRICE SERIE", but those are not recommended, because the booklet contains nothing and the tracklist appears only on the cd itself. But if you only want the music, ther're ok (but expensive).Black Axe wrote:Were those Griffin LP's ever officially released on CD?
I've never seen any their releases for sale.

Expensive fuck-up CDs aren't favored by me. I'll just hope to find an original vinyl one day.The Sentinel wrote:They were officially released on cd by SPV/Steamhammer on their "CD-MID-PRICE SERIE", but those are not recommended, because the booklet contains nothing and the tracklist appears only on the cd itself. The vinyls are very easy to find. I've already seen them for 5 euro in great condition.Black Axe wrote:Expensive fuck-up CDs aren't favored by me. They made some great records after that too. The new album is pretty good too, but I've only just got that one.ION BRITTON wrote:The Sentinel wrote:WASP: The Crimson Idol & The Headless Children
