Can someone remember the band in the early 90's (late 80's?) who had a song whose chorus was "Thrash thrash thrash..."? I still may have their CD somewhere. Hilarious........

spot on. I was having a hard time listening to the original release, but the remaster rocks.

When I bought Savage Steel's "Do Or Die" album it was a huge disappointment. Their "Begins With A Nightmare" album was much better in my opinion. Might be that I would change my mind if I would listen to the album nowadays but due to the lack of a turntable I can't try to change my mind... .

Both albums are available on CD.

It's funny that you feel that way though as most people that I discuss Savage Steel with prefer "Do Or Die" over the debut by quite a large margin. I don't think that "Begins With A Nightmare" is bad by any means but I don't think that it's comparable in quality to the second album. Regardless, the band changed their direction in sound quite substantially between the two so that would definitely explain why a lot of people like one and disliking the other.

i found the krautgr00p DESPAIR in the dollar bin last week; really weak and forgettable; vocals suck, clumsy tech-riffing...in the trash....

Yes they are available on CD but I only have "Begins With A Nightmare" in this form. "Do Or Die" I only own as an LP. Maybe someone wants to exchange his CD with my LP?

However, I will give it a try and see if something has changed over the years... .

I've never heard "Killing Time".

Are you able to upload it?

The unreleased album is awesome, but I doubt it will sees the light of day, coz a) contractually it belongs to NRR, and b) the label didnt pay to the studio when the album was recorded, so there are no master tapes for it.

In a week maybe. I'm still recouping from my vacation (my liver is getting some well-deserved rest, haha) and also trying to get some new releases to the factory asap.
