At this point FAR EAST would have to be the best two songs ever written in metal to live up to all the bullshit secrecy too-cult-for-you-haha-you-don't-have-it crap with no other reason not to share clips than it being an issue of ego. There is nothing easy about obtaining that 7", and for like 98% of people it is an absolute impossibility. Most people can't visit the US to go round looking for records, most people can't even go outside their home country to look for records, and eBay/money isn't always an option either. At this point that single is simply a curiosity, even if what I said sounds angry it's not it's just how I see the reality of the situation. If I heard it and it was great I'd say so.

As far as I know there are only 4 known copies one of which doesn't play.
The folks that own these are not on this board and I don't believe 2 of them have the ability to upload clips. So why do you have a problem with this.
I can name 100's of singles that are not uploaded.
The only reason anyone even knows of this single is it was in my list years ago with a picture. There were lots of stuff that were in my list back then that have never seen the light of day again. Thats just how it goes.
when I get this book done there will be at least 500 singles you have never seen or heard. that you'll get to see for the first time, Do you have a problem with that?
Sorry

What's wrong with wanting to hear things? And what is wrong with questioning why people who have the means to let others hear something do not do so. I don't need a "so you think you're entitled to everything" speech, this is about hearing music, not owning anything.
I'll buy that book for sure, though I won't be able to get near anything unknown in there, mostly because I don't have much money for records anymore/at the moment/for the foreseeable future and don't find sitting on eBay every day interesting or rewarding anymore no matter what records can be got there. I don't per se "need" to hear everything, and reading about a bunch of things I've never heard can actually be entertaining enough in itself. And I'm sorry I never spent enough money on rare records to warrant being one of the elite who got early copies of the book.

Are you drinking tonight?
I sent the book to anyone who asked, It had nothing to do with money
And I sent them all for free, $14 each over seas and $10 to press.
You should ask some of the folks who go one that is how it worked. NOTHING at all to do with buying records.
As a matter of fact the 20+ folks who got copies in the USA dont ever listed to metal

I received John's book (Proof) for free and I really want to thank him.I also try to supply some info about some records because John asked folks to get in touch if they have something to add(But my info were very poor),because I know it will be one of the BEST books about rare records.

Drinking, no, I'm off alcohol altogether at the moment. I'm not butthurt about the book, it doesn't matter I haven't got one for free, I'll gladly buy it when it comes out, but no one ever mentioned anything about getting one if you asked (for the record, in general I don't like asking for stuff for free so I would've felt awkward anyway), all I recall was a long silence on any progress even when people asked about it in the topic on the subject. Steering the talk to solely about that book wasn't the intention.

And that thread is over a year old
"I am NOT a collector"
There is no need for the book stuff to go any further.
I printed 100 copies of what I had at the time
called it a PROOF. and sent it for free to folks I thought could help me with some ideas and info. (metal and non-metal folks alike)
as these got out folks started to ask how they could buy a copy. Insteadt I sent them one for free until I had none left.
The book has doubled since then in size and I hope to have it out this year. It will never be complete but I have to stop at some point and print it.
