Yes i agree Axewitch-Visions Of The Past is a masterpiece and a classic Swedish Metal record of early 80's.
But i don't like so much the other stuff except that monumental album.

These days playing among others:
MORBID JESTER-Gates To Valhalla
AHAT-Pohodt
RUBYCON-Basement Bash
CITRON-Radegast

I avoid tribute albums like a pest.

The last one i heard before Cirith Ungol was a tribute to Running Wild. Things were even worse there... Thank god i didn't buy the original CDs.

Now playing Genocide - Black Sanctuary.
I never really gave this a good listening even though I heard this couple years ago. Now it seems brilliant. 8)

Did you hear the free download Running WIld tribute? One of the worst lot of covers ever. If you heard the proper Running Wild Tribute album thank god you didn't hear this one althoguh the Lonewolf (Fra) - Victim Of States Power cover was okay.

There were good tracks on Venom tribute IMHO. I liked Sodom version of 1000 Years In Sodom for example.

Actually, i've heard two tributes to them. I don't know which one was free, but both were horrible. Lonewolf's cover was ok, nothing special, i've also heard that one live on their gig in Greece. It was the only cover that didn't rape the original...
