Yes I have "Free" also on Megamania. Don't know about the vinyls :S

6 different S/T version ? Wow crazy xD you mean LPs/CDs/MCs... ?

I had the MCA cd version (bought for 2900 lire - 2 euro ^^ in 1990 or so) with a little cut, I lent it in 2002 or so and never came back :) but nevermind as I was aiming to the MM print (I don't keep two versions of the same CD, except Helstar "A Distant Thunder" lol).

I said 5, but when you said 6 you were actually correct (forgot I had two Mechanic LPs) :) I've got:

Mechanic CD
Mechanic LP - retail
Mechanic LP - promo (gold stamp)
Mechanic tape
Megamania LP
Megamania CD - 2003

Still need the orig Megamania CD and tape, and the Japanese No Anaesthesia w/ most of the album as bonus and I think I'll have them all. Except test pressings, don't know how much luck I can have there :?

But then I still need all the MGM singles/12", No Anaesthesia LP, Colours LP (have one but its missing insert), a few other stuff. I'm not so concerned with tapes but I do buy them when I see them for a low price.

I don't go this crazy very often, but well.. I really like Stone 8)

Kudos to you :D

Stone rules ye, they were/are really underrated ... maybe the best thrash band ever in Europe (musically, ok Sovdat =) ?)

Yesterday at the Metropole Ruhr Festival I came across an Exciter "Violence & Force" copy by Globus International. It was sealed (which doesn't mean too much probably) and should have cost 13 Euros. I didn't buy it, since I forgot about it BUT I wonder if this copy was legit or if the Globus version was ever bootlegged?

Any information would be welcome.

Thanks!

Seems very unlikely that that would be bootlegged

It wouldn't make sense, since Megaforce re-released most of the Exciter stuff (including phantom remastering).

I guess I should have bought it then, since my copy has some wear on the inlay. This is the only (CD) version which contains the album as it should be - including "Evil Sinner".

My CD version of Violence & Force is on Globus International, which I bought about 15 years ago. It says it’s licensed from Music for Nations. 1990 is printed on the CD and 1991 on the back.

perishinflames wrote:Funny you should mention that sovdat, that Master Project Genesis boot was the first thing I thought of when I saw this CD.... and guess what? Malaysia, registered in Singapore. Guess what else? Seller was also selling that Blind Illusion CD. I guess my question is answered.

So is this a well known scammer? I hate returning stuff and filing claims if the person was unaware they were selling a bootleg (it happens), but I don't feel a bit of remorse doing it to people who are knowingly selling boots without mentioning. And I did notice a few other mentions of bootlegs in his feedback, I should've looked more closely before buying.

In The Raw wrote:How can I tell if my SAVAGE GRACE MASTER OF DISGUISE/THE DOMINATRESS is an original?

Its a Black dragon issue, has the multi-page booklet with the note from Christian Logue and I bought it YEARS ago.

Reading from the bottom of the cd the Matrix is BDCD001 MP0 02 then some weird symbol that looks kind of like a G in a half-circle and then a fainter 01.

IFPI LO31 is written in tiny typeface above the matrix.

Booklet has only the MASTER artwork on front and some lyrics inside with band photo in middle.

Any idea if its legit? And whats its worth?

Thanks in advance guys.

I can post scans if anyone thinks I should, btw.
Got my copy today and it's the same as this one (except the that "G" looks like "@" to me :D). Is the bootleg identical / with BAND-ALBUM matrix? Both boots that are listed on M-S seem to have different cover:

http://www.musik-sammler.de/album/16210

I also got 1st Believer CD, REX press w/ cat. number 00-137-8902D. Booklet is a little smaller than it should be and it's not even symmetricaly cut, although it looks legit. Anyone knows more?

That damn Believer album was probably the first cd I paid for and never receive about 10 years ago (eBay of course) ^^

Sovdat, no help possible from me, sorry :|

I have the original Believer CD and I can confirm that the size of the booklet is a bit smaller than usually - nothing serious but visible, if you take a closer look. My booklet looks symmetrical but this may vary.

The Matrix says:

"Made By Discovery Systems - An American Company 54F0100A"
