The spanish Metal book says about King Kong Rock Melodico, but I think it's kinda wrong. Some titles are even Metal and the majority is Hard Rock, has some melodic moments though, but surely not Rock Melodico. Quite good album, especially with such a hilarious cover!
Mental Powers slays! Had to get that one! Especially for these peanuts ...
Essie I had to get to replace my old non PS copy, it's not average, it's below average!
Sweet Sin has to be recommended, quite nice Melodic Metal, can't believe they are from Britannia!
Rocking Horse in consideration the 7" is from 1981 is not that bad! Exactly what I did expect, rough AOR/Hard Rock. Section 8 too, though more melodic, but nice heavy guitars ... I know greek guys that will immediately get an erection when they will hear that!

And as for Slammer, it's even too heavy for my ears. Only AOR and Power Pop as you know ...

i like King Kong, it is AOR/ Hard Rockish, there are a lot of unknown spanish stuff in that vein. Many i don´t even heard yet.

I know but the prices I see each time are absolutely too much for just checking something out that you never heard before. 40-50 E for each LP is quite absurd imo ... if they'd at least post some soundfiles ...

... by J.L. Granado; Thanks - I think it is also the best.
Honorably mentioned should be also
"Cuerdas de acero" by Andrés Lopéz Martínez.

Don't know that one ... there's also a german written book available but it mainly features the wellknown bands/LP's and Grando's book has at least a list of more obscure stuff with short description.

Are you refering to a specific book on spanish metal or "Heavy Metal aus Südeuropa"? I have also one that's called "Diccionario de heavy metal latino". I unfortunately never got hold of "Heavy Metal aus Südeuropa", but among the books I know, "Large vida ..." is the most extensive by far.
By the way: You are German, I believe, from where exactly? - I live in Bonn myself ...
