I have an extra 'dead mint' original copy if anyone wants to buy or trade??
That's odd. I bought my copy from Greece (the bootleg nation) and it says NM 019" and also has "12099602" as well although there's no "SNA". A guy from eBay who's listing the album right now says his has those numbers/figures but that his isn't a bootleg (as he says he bought it from CM Distro years ago). I'm confused as I'm CERTAIN my copy can't be legit. I got it from lastempire who I was warned about after buying it and who also has loads of copies of this (and uses the "I'm not sure what pressing this is" card).
What CD is this? And who's the seller?
Even lastempire sells original stuff from time to time, he just changes "I don't know .." with "this is a 1st press, no bootleg" :D

Not all Greek sellers sell boots, I've gotten many rare and original CDs from there (Last Descendants, 1st Anacrusis, 1st Intruder, 1st Grinder, Axiom, ...)

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0263793655

^^^This is the listing I expressed interest in. I'm still not sure about lastempire as this post (http://www.ultimatemetal.com/forum/7236 ... t7492.html) singles him/her out as a fraud. 1st Anacrusis has been booted many times btw. If Twisted Cross is broken up into two separate
tracks (tracks 8 and 9) and Annihilation Complete (Disemboweled) is track 10 then it's a boot.

The Chasm - Deathcult For Eternity: The Triumph (new copy from eBay seller wwpins; was the only seller who had this. The words "SONOPRESS" and "THE CHASM" appear in the ring however not the album title.)

Enslaved - Vikingligr Veldi (It's a factory sealed press of DLS version from seller erwilson326. I've very suspicious because this guy's from Taiwan and he has many rare items not to mention he goes out of his way to mention they're not fakes. He does however mention when a bootleg is a bootleg and most of his items are used. It's in perfect condition but feels old. Matrix says "Tocano DK 40462" and elsewhere on the ring "IFPI LP51" and "0014").
I can help with these:
Original Sigh should say: DURECO [10] ANTIMOSH7 (& yellowish cover)
Re-press says: Tocano DK42333 (& greyish cover)
Original Enslaved should say: DURECO [10] ANTIMOSH-8 (not sealed)
Re-press says: Tocano DK40462 (sealed) you can still get this I don't know about Sigh??
I know Voices Of Wonder pressed the DSP releases at Dureco plant first & then Tocano once they moved to Denmark from what I recall in my distro days?
Did Chasm have a splipcase? Either way I think this copy you have is original on OZ Productions... but possible a re-issue??

Thank you! I'm so relieved, my Enslaved album says "Tocano DK40462" so I guess it's the Danish press .

Hmm, The Chasm album didn't come in a slipcase.

What version are we talking about? There was 2 different covers for this one.
(and ofcourse the later re-release from psychic scream)

Ok, mine has this # DURECO [01] ANTIMOSH 7

Are there any other difference than the # (and the slight change of collour on the cover), on the other you mention?

Sorry, mine says DURECO [01] ANTIMOSH 7 (not [10]), and has a yellowish colour & from what I can tell there is no difference except for the variation of colour & matrix numbers... You want my grey version for that Desexult demo?

Graveland "Thousand Swords" was originally supposedly released by Lethal, though I've never seen a copy, then repressed by No Colours in CD (at least twice) and LP. No reason to think that's a boot, but I seem to have gotten rid of my copy so I can't compare.

What is the matrix number for the Autumn Tears album "Love Poems For Dying Children Act 1 - Reprise"? Also, is is the font on the disc supposed to be red?

hey, I bought a ton of king diamond/mercyful fate stuff from the local shop today. Something odd that I noticed was that 4 of the albums have didx in the matrix code, which i've never seen before on roadracer/runner cds. anyone know if these are boots? thanks

Actually DIDX marks would indicate a legitimate pressing.

all original DSL albums i have ever seen have "Dureco" and "Antimosh" as a part of the matrix. I have seen a few "Tocano" versions like Sigh, Mayhem -DMDS even 3rd and the Mortal early cds and i would say its same later press its not either a cheap copy or a first press for sure.
Geese wrote:Graveland - Thousand Swords (New and bought from Deathgasm on eBay. Worth noting because the text "Thousand Swords" on the front cover is silver)
If its the Isengard jewel case version, it could be the 2nd version of the album. The first press does exist from Lethal records (jewel case) and then comes No colours (Digi and jewel case). Post the cd matrix if you want to cross check.
Geese wrote:The Chasm - Deathcult For Eternity: The Triumph (new copy from eBay seller wwpins; was the only seller who had this. The words "SONOPRESS" and "THE CHASM" appear in the ring however not the album title.)
i have this, with the same matrix. I ve bought it from a 2nd hand store (not ebay) 5+ years ago.

expecially IFPI indicate a legit press but you can never be sure unless you have an image of the matrix to compare with one that is 100% sure to be orig. I have seen tawain-bootlegs of burzum cds with the "Dureco" and "Antimosh" part of the cd matrix and you can tell by the size of the fonts which is somewhat small.

As for bootlegs from greece 99% of them are made by the same person and you can always tell if you check the matrix.

@Geese only registered shipping from/to italy and even then its not 100% safe.
