ION BRITTON wrote:I have heard the second demo which was disappointing from start to finish. I really don't believe it's the same band that recorded the monumental 12''. Do we know any band members of the demo band?
It's definitely not the same band, and I agree with you that those demos are none too impressive. However, others may feel differently, so I will post those two demos in the coming days to the forum. They are rare, at least.
The demo band was:
Keith Bleakley: Guitars/Vocals
Shaun 'Bill' Elliot: Bass/Vocals
Mark Mitchell: Drums/Back. Vocals
I'll list the tracks and details in my post of the demos.

Can anyone PLEASE upload CHRONICAL DISTURBANCE demo "The Clearing"?
I wanted to get it from soulseek but I was banned (dont know why...).
Can anyone help me, if the demo has a booklet? My copy has just the coverpicture and no additional infos, that looks like being printed on normal paper...

I have the LP on CDR. Cover & lyricwise you'd think this was just another humorous/pornographic crossover act, but the music is actually brilliant Speed/Thrash. I'll try to remember to upload it some time this week. I'm a bit behind on my upload-promises

damn, not so good in describing, but it is rockish/punkish "metal" fun...
I didn't liked it at first but guys from Massive appendage are great musicians
and it can be heard here also in Festers... not much to recommend,
just to check because of Massive Appendage guys...

Do you have a list of their discography? There seem to be several different CD reissues of their old tapes and the old discography I copied from the "Back In The USSR" book doesn't seem complete, so things are a bit confusing at the moment. I have OK II, Svobody.., 1991 and the later one w/ the kissing heads + a compilation of various 80's tracks. Destrozer just bought a bunch of old ones which I'm hoping to copy soon.
I promised I would start uploading the ones I had, but I can't find my CDR rip of the LP at the moment. Perhaps someone has the CD version for upload? I would suggest that is the best introduction to the band for those who haven't heard them since it's their most Metallic release. I think.

Sure :
Oblachniy Kray goes like this :
Made In Vaneeva 1980 (tape only rehearsal / live in the studio)
O.K. I - Tainy Lesa 1982 (available on CD)
O.K. II - Selhozrock 1982 (available on CD)
Velikaya Garmoniya 1982 (available on CD)
Hudozhestvennaya Samodeyatelnost' 1983 (available on CD)
Vershina Idiotizma 1984 (available on CD)
Ubluzhya Dolya 1984 (available on CD)
Stremya I Ludy 1985 (available on CD)
Svobodi Zahoteli ? 1991 (available on CD)
oblachniy Kray 1991 (available on CD)
Lyubov K Zhizne 1999 (available on CD)
Patriot 2003 (available on CD)
I have the CD reissues of the 5 tapes (except the 1980) on 3 CD's. the albums from 1984, 1985, 1991 have been reissued on high quality digipack CD's, I only have Zvobodi Zahotely ? as digipack, the others on CDR and the original tape of one of them. OK 1991 remained unreleased until 1999, and was released at the same time as the 1999 album. the only one i don't have is the 2003 album.
