Mercyful Fate-Melissa
got a tricky question for you guys, anyone could recall another album from the same year with the same level of compelxity and "progression", maybe a year after?

Not the same style but a perfect album for me is Metal church - same
not easy to find many other Lps so well arranged like Melissa in the period.
Perhaps Iron Maiden - Piece of mind and Powerslave,
Also Satan - Court in the act was great but a song like Satan's fall was outstanding in 1983

EXCITER "Unveiling the wicked"
A band that I'm definitely not listen to as much as I should.
(I think it will be necessary for me doing a "classix day" once in a week, just listen to all those masterworks which have formed/influenced our beloved music

)
Furthermore:
IRON MAIDEN "Number..."
IRON MAIDEN "Killers"

PROUD - FIRE BREAKS THE DAWN
Besides ´Star Light´ and ´Star Of The Masquerade´ there´s only one word to describe ther rest of the material on this album: Average.
