DaN, if there's gonna be a 'zine and you're gonna be the "editor", then I guess you should apply your chriteria to the list (maybe you can put together an "editorial team"). I don't think everything and anything posted here should be in the final list, there's gotta be some sort of selection. Also, perhaps we should start another thread to discuss this and only use this to post the list so is easier to follow the count.

i used to learn about loads of bands from those lists...who needs the internet, when you have the huge thanks lists!

We had about 100 of these for exactly that purpose in Isten ca. 2004. I still have the list. It was called "The 666 Wonders of Heavy Metal".
