The Knell wrote:Bathory - One part of a track from the Hammerheart album (unfortunately I forgot which) was completely stolen from the end of "For Whom The Bells Toll" of Metallica.
Nevertheless a fantastic album
It's the outro to "Home of Once Brave".
A few others that come to mind...
Judas Priest "Running Wild" vs. Iron Maiden "Wickerman"
Motorhead "Dead and Gone" vs. Sam Gopal "The sky is Burning" (same author)
Turbonegro borrows tons of riffs
and of course... the choruses of Superchrist "Brown Eye Sees All" vs. Venom "Countess Bathory"

Zoetrope's Break Your Back. I don't think it's an exact copy of Ace of Spades, but it's pretty close.

Kawir's "Eumenides" has just reminded me of The Art of Noise's "Moments in Love".

the third riff (from ca 1.11) on Front Beast's 'Candlelights' is also a main theme in Beherit's 'The Gate of Nanna'.

I was listening to Grave Digger's "Heavy Metal Breakdown", and isn't the main riff of the title song very similar to Accept's "Flash Rocking Man"?

Have YOU noticed how how both Fastuca and Lord Ryur use the same 'papa sang bass' voice in 'The Battle Will Rage' and 'Pact...'...

A weird one because neither of the bands is metal but:
Misery (the US crust band): opening of Who's the fool
Sloth (the US sludge band): opening of It's about malt liquor
