How does your remark relate to what I posted?Avenger wrote:Not everyone bought everything they have in todays market.Heathen wrote:Got Havoc - The Grip for 40€ today. Noone wanted it here:

so I contacted the seller and got it cheaper. Another proof that this is not a 150+ or even a 80+ $ CD.
Recent Metal Finds (2013)
I thought it was pretty straight forward... The CD used to be valued higher then what I have seen it go for recently.Heathen wrote:How does your remark relate to what I posted?Avenger wrote:Not everyone bought everything they have in todays market.Heathen wrote:Got Havoc - The Grip for 40€ today. By the way, I still don't think you are 100% correct since it seems you only discuss auctions that support your claim.

Auctions from shorthander77 always end up higher then usual, think of Asphyxia ending for 250$.Avenger wrote:I thought it was pretty straight forward... The CD used to be valued higher then what I have seen it go for recently.Heathen wrote:How does your remark relate to what I posted?Avenger wrote:

Define "usual" when referencing ebay? pricekillers001, shorthander77, kreator72, apoisontree, drgoon_japan, empty_air, gunmann22, gojira_666, etc. etc. all sell stuff that ends at the "high" end of the market on a consistent basis but at the same time you know you are purchasing a quality item or at least their grading standards are accurate and you aren't taking the risk of buying something described as "mint" and then the biggest piece of shit arrives at your door.
Is the "usual price" the handful of auctions listed by random guys that end low because no one saw them or the high end auctions that get more exposure because the sellers are better established?
For example, I have bought 100's of items from Kim since he started selling on ebay for both high and low prices. The parcels are shipped quickly, are well packaged and graded accordingly. 99% of the time I am satisfied with what I buy and the couple of times that I wasn't a quick and easy solution was always available. Some times paying a few extra bucks for the peace of mind is worth it.
This "usual price" in my opinion is somewhere in the middle.

I have already mentioned this listing - it is from the same bunch of auctions that saw Asphyxia sell for 250$. If The Grip is worth 120$ then Asphyxia is worth 250$. And we both know its not. that 120$ auction is an insane occurence, an exception from the rule.Avenger wrote:The CD used to be valued higher then what I have seen it go for recently.

What I don't understand is why instead of just admitting you exaggerated the valuation of Havoc, you try to take away my credibility by implying that I bought all my stuff in the last year or two which is a suggestion that I listen to metal for a year or two.
Quit playing the victim. You know you were prompting a reaction from me when posting the following:Heathen wrote:I have already mentioned this listing - it is from the same bunch of auctions that saw Asphyxia sell for 250$. You are making too many assumptions. Anything that I did not type, I did not imply. We are also not talking about Asphyxia here so why that is being brought up is a mystery to me... I have citied past auctions that have brought just as much if not more money for the same CD but like I said they happened in the PAST so the links have long been removed.Heathen wrote:Another proof that this is not a 150+ or even a 80+ $ CD.
I’m simply showing you that your claim is just as inaccurate as mine was and that the current price is really what two people are willing to agree upon rather then a set standard that has become lower on average then in the past.

By chance I came across this post (from 2008!) yesterday...
This to me is quite insane since noone seemed to care about or recognized it anyway.
I only can hope that the german customs authorities won't make any troubles due to the small svatiska on the cover.
...and right after seeing it I searched for the seller and yeah! he still got one copy for sale ... 6€ + postage! The Knell wrote:Go for Sonowax, this guy is really reliable and also has the [Outbreak "Metal reich"] demos for ultra cheap

awesome, bought the Outbreak LP and both demos there too (guess in 2008 haha), wouldn't have thought he'd still had copies left!
package made it safe through customs (unopened, ha) complete with the not so small swastika on the poster and all

Okay. But i can imagine that a record like Holocausto "Campo..." could cause some trouble on the buyer (here in germany) if opened by the customs (due to the artwork).Prowler wrote:Eh, customs don't really control the records or inserts. They just wanna see that the record that's inside the package is the one that appears on the paypal bill and that the price wasn't not higher than 22 $.

Not due to the artwork (you can always say "It's anti-concentration camps" etc ...) but the band pic won't help you here! lolNasty Uwe wrote:Okay. I'm there each month twice or triple and they never pulled out the record and turned the sleeve ... mostly the bill already did it. Go in the early morning right when they opened because there's noone motivated enough to work. They're all still drinking coffee ... haha
