Thanks a lot !
I am about to hear it now ! I would call this technical Melodic Rock/AOR.
The strong point is that the guys really can play ! Also the compositions are on a high level, sometimes quite/very complex ! This means also, that some songs are not very accesible ! The Production is very good (Spencer Proffer) ! The Singer is a typical for this genre, not really outstanding IMO. You might know him from Arcara, Surgin or Message.

It's hard to compare them to other Bands, the singer reminds me Bon Jovi, House of Lords or King Kobra, and when they're going to the more complex stuff there are similarities to Kick Axe or even Styx and Saga !

So i would say if your into technical AOR you must have it !

I've seen "Institut..." on CD at least a couple of times and the other two I saw just last week on ebay. I assume they're all originals and they're probably more rare than the LPs (since seen so rarely and as discussed about ROOT orig-CD's in another thread here).

The majority of the copies I've seen in circulation have been without p/s, so this is most likely a homemade cover made by a previous owner. If the vinyl is black, that one should at least be an original.
Allright, thanks! When looking closer your info makes sense indeed. So I'm in possession of a sleeve possibly made in ONE copy. But that leads us into another discussion whether non-authorised "cover-art" could be counted as collectable or "rare". Probably not, haha...

Yes I saw it too with the debut and chcipny CDs, but they suddenly went to >50€ each(!) in the end. That was a bit too much for me? or is it THAT rare??
Anyway, I got the Death Metal Session CD for 15$ incl. postage, O.K. for me (and after you said it's probably more rare than the LP version right? OR Is it a bootleg? I'm a bit confused no one bid for this).

Well, nothing seems to surprise me anymore (50 EUR). The "Death Metal Session" is probably the real deal, I've got the CD myself and it has all the labels and was bought in a 2nd hand shop in Prague some years ago. Additionally, I have a hard time to see that someone would want to bootleg such a CD. How many are really interested in such a compilation? And yes, it seems these CD's are more rare than the LP's, I've seen the "Armageddon" and "Institut..." LP's of TÖRR quite often but it was the first time I saw the CD's. Same goes for the early ROOT albums, the MASTER'S HAMMER cd's, ASSESOR, KRYPTOR, and so on...

Didn't know that Death metal session CD was rare. Traded it with some other stuff for a Sadistic intent LP just last month. Bought DM session for €5 or something on ebay. Still have the vinyl-version so no worries...

Atleast for Temple in the underworld, the CD version are a lot easier to find (and a lot cheaper, too).

There is at least an official double CD w/ the 3 first ones + 1 disc w/ re-recorded old demo songs. They might exist separately as well, but someone else here might know more...
No, the Gallery 2-CD features 2 records on each CD and long before this compilation all 4 releases were sold separatly. These pressings were released at the same time as the LP like the Institut Klinicke Smrti CD and Chipni O Kus Dall CD, or long after the original vinyl release (Armageddon CD). The Klavdivo Na Casodejnice CD demo-compilation was never released on LP, but also released on CD at least two years before it got re-released on the Gallery 2-CD.

Depends how one defines "rare". In this case I presume the CD is not very easy to find but there is no real demand for it either. It's like, one could probably find the rarest record in the world for 1 cent if looking at the right place, where the seller does not know there's an interest in a certain record. But that's a different thing. In this case, well I guess there are less than five people in the world "on the hunt" for a czech compilation CD with two-three good songs.

You are probably totally right there.

It was released on LP. I just read that in a TÖRR interview with V Henych, written in english, linked from monsternation.cz or where the hell it was. I linked to that interview or site in another thread, don't remember which. That LP is so rare that the most rabid collectors would probably sell even their original REENCARNACION demos to get it (irony + sarcasm intended).

Has anybody heard the third MINDLESS (SINNER) double cd which was rereleased by HV? Is it any good? Compared to the previous two works? I've been told that they followed a more melodic direction but i don't know what was the result of that turn. Well?

Regarding the first Sabbrabells LP.

I usually see it in Japan for about $500 to $700 US dollars.
but ive also seen it sell on ebay for $999 dollars. insane!!!!!!
so yes it is rare and expensive as hell. I'm pretty sure they made 1000 copies of it. so it isnt the rarest record in Japan, but it always sells for high. I think the greatness of the music on the LP has something to do with it.

one of my friends in Japan is officially rereleasing it with bonus tracks sometime in the nere future. I assume the bonus tracks will be from All Night Metal Party 84~85 cassette and Heavy Metal Force vol. 1 VA LP.

I paid $350 for mine

Yeep! It was released on LP, true. But I never saw any LP despite Vlasta Henych's! And all I asked too, even the czech ones. Seems to be one of the rarest czech metal records maybe. What happened to the other 999 ones?

@sabbat666: This price is extremely heavy. But the music is great, no doubt.

Same here. I want my ignorance back!

Has anyone ever heard the band HAZ from Venezuela? Coverpix can be found here. That '83 debut looks pretty promising, wouldn't you say? And what about songtitles like "Sacrificio Infernal" or "Momentode Horror" on the 2nd one?

Indeed the cover for the first one looks promising, but looking at the second one, it seems they changed something during that 5 years :?:
