Exactry! These from no. 4 onwards seem to be from a parallel universe. No. 3 as well, but it's a different story. And that TAO CHEMICAL should be from 1982. OK, I allow the possibility it was recorded in some black fund financed space-base on the Moon or on the Mars. Or somewhere within the asteroid belt.

'Moon Base Alpha' perhaps?
I like your off-planet/multiverse theory Noisenik, but to the best of my knowledge all of this music was made on earth by human beings. Hope that knowledge doesn't detract from your enjoyment of the tunes. :D
Granted, most of these bands were fairly obscure, (though Leadfoot were ex-Corrosion Of Conformity, & Law released 3 major label albums in a very different funk-rock vein in the mid-late '70's), but that's all part of the beauty of digging for music, no matter how much knowledge you think you've aquired there are always exciting sounds still out there awaiting discovery.
There's never ever a 'game over' screen, just an eternal succession of further hidden bonus levels to unlock.
Full tracklist for this episode finally revealed in next post...

It seems i may have strayed too far into the uber-obscure hinterlands for the ingredients this time, though i was personally rather pleased with the results.
I'll likely not go quite this deep when compiling October's edition. Hope i didn't scare any of you off.
