I can relate to that. I wasn't planning on going in 2020 either, mostly due to it being a pain to get there. It took us almost 12 hours to drive, with road work most of the way.
But Legend convinced me to go, and I enjoy the social side a lot, just like you.

I went to the try-out show. They are really good live, very tight on stage. If they can do the same on a big stage this will be one of the best thrash metal reunions for sure!
