As long as it's not a bootleg, I'm not really fussed about that sort of thing - so are there any other reasons, like poor quality package, really bad sound etc.?

Re-issues are just useless ... and confusing ... many "forest and meadow sellers" do offer them as original first editions. And you mostly will only recognize that when you've got the shit at home ...
The non sleeve single is Chile's Chronos' second Promo 7".
Paragon is a second single of the aussie band. Never seen this one before or even knew it exists. Total obscurity ...
