I only know 2 other guys who have this ... it's incredible that if you know it was released on a "big" label with at least 5000 or more copies that it never turns up anywhere.

I see you got the Incinerator lp, i'm been seeing that lp go for some fair prices on Discogs, i should get a copy, some very good thrash.

Yes, for Slayer fans it's highly recommended, especially since Slayer only released the boring "South of heaven" in the same year.

Ok, even if Incinerator album is actually from 1989 (SOH is from 1988) and even if they are from my town, I can't really imagine how possibly this album can be "good" while the Slayer one is "boring" :?

ps. I'm not really sure you would understand the lyrics of "Umbari Chi Spacchiu Si" either

Recorded November 1988, and well it's much more Thrash (in sense of THRASH) than SOH ... straight and ruthless. Tom Araya has lost his voice on SOH plus the song material is except of "Silent scream" which was for sure written in the "Reign in blood" era, pretty lame. No speed, no energy, no spirit

We agree to disagree. "Mandatory Suicide" is for example a masterpiece IMHO (covered also by many bands, like Loudblast). You don't have to go at 300rpm all the times to write good songs you know ...

"Uh !" stays as a really bad album in my book (except the song sung in sicilian which is still a myth here), sorry :)

BUT you need to remember what Slayer got known for. Surely not for Thrash with drawn hand break. I remember when SOH was released the first song that got airplay was "Silent scream" and I thought "Alright, let the show begin!" But then there came just nonsense Thrash with Araya's terrible vocals. Those slower songs really supported his bad vocals which are ok (more raw) at the early fast Slayer stuff but he couldn't "sing". It's like with Quorthon when he started "singing" on the Viking era Bathory stuff. Fast Thrash ok, great, but slow clean vocals => Beware!

lol ... as if you read my thoughts ...

Seriously, do you like Pautina? I have 2 albums of them and had a third too but it was that shitty that I didn't wanted it in my house. The other 2 are a bit better but surely worthless crap ...

Also what's the deal with Lester Maddox. It's soooo lame ... and sells for ... hundreds and hundreds $ each time ...
