This thread feels like a deja-vous, but I'll give you the first three recommendations that cross my mind:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2oDf1sEi13s
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OeSHFC-2QzI
And a bonus one, mainly for the crushing intro:

...and another bonus. One of the scariest/heaviest songs of the early 70's (recently reissued). Listen to the entire song despite the lenght. The ending will make it up to you:

I always felt like the riffs on this Lucifer's Friend track were total metal:

Many awesome additions lately! I think both of these also qualify as songs anticipating where the genre was gonna go in the 80' ( both from -76)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q0YDSj21g20 Street Fighter - Triumph

I was familiar with "street fighter" but this one took me by surprise! Really a tough son of a bitch! Any other hard hitters in this album?

I'd say 'Street Rats and 'Dog eat Dog'

If you explore Ted's 70's catalogue there are amazing songs on all his albums throughout the decade. (With the possible exception of the sub-par 'State Of Shock')
Try the shamefully overlooked 'Venom Soup' from 1977's 'Weekend Warriors' for example:

The 'Call Of The Wild' and 'Tooth, Fang & Claw' records, recorded as Ted Nugent & The Amboy Dukes, are visionary albums. Hard, muscular and uncompromising, they're the best things he ever played on to me.
For example, 'Cannon Balls':

Love all those time changes, and that rhythm section is utterly smoking.
In 1973 too! Wild.
A shame he's such an arsehole, but that shouldn't diminish his undoubted musical talent and influence.

I haven't given too much time on T.N. but I do have a "best of" him. I didn't find too many songs for my taste there so I gave up on him. I knew that he should have some interesting tracks, though. So, this is good time for his second chance. I'll check your recs. Thanx.
