On the closing song "Swinging the Chain". I wasn't so keen on "It's Alright" when I first heard it - reminded me too much of Oasis - but I've developed a soft spot for it now.

I'm gonna check that one too, so I have a better opinion.
Thanks for the info!

Mike Pfau (CHEMICAL ANNIHILATION)
Funny info regarding INFERNAL MAJESTY. I always though those vocals the most sick and awesome thing on this album. If this is true Rick should have dropped the sticks and moved to the front instantly!

Joey Smith of Speed, Glue and Shinki. I think several other proto-metal bands also had singer-drummers, I can't remember which ones right now (Sir Lord Baltimore has already been mentioned).

You're right Lynx, i'm sure there were several other Proto-Metal bands with singing drummers, however the only one i can think of right now is
Captain Beyond's Bobby Caldwell who, although they had a singer, was lead vocalist on many of their songs.
In the modern Metal world the only singer/drummer i can think of is Quzzy from
Co-Exist.
How on earth he manages to sing like that whilst playing their mental brand of grind-core is anyone's guess. It's one of those bizarre feats which leaves you gobsmacked, a very impressive spectacle.

Proto Metal doesn't really belong here, but since a few have been mentioned here I can't go without paying some respect to Don Francisco of Highway Robbery. A true legend of the drum/vocal combination.

Gil Moore, drummer of Triumph shared lead vocal duties with Rik Emmett.
