This was not too bad.
But the first thing I notice is that the guitarist does not keep in rythm with the rest of the band very well. Aspecially when soloing he is way off sometimes. His playing is otherwise pretty good. Buy him a metronome or sign him up for dancing lessons.

agreed on a certain point, yea we have had problems with rythm, nothing to serious though...but when it comes to solos, well, its more of his style,he is way influenced by 70s rock hence the off timing printed in most parts of his solos

And wether or not Voltax hate the term "old school", their music is still 100 percent old school.
most of the new bands carrying that banner try so hard in being metal that in the end they fail, making a sad joke of their music(like seriously boring and copying 80s bands,i dont wanna mention examples here)...seems that nowdays, more old-school means shittier music

we prefer playing what we play without any modern banners, and instead, people deciding whats their opinion on us,like you just did

You know, for a modern band this stuff really ain't that bad, and yes, this is coming from me, so take it for what it is... I hear a lot of Running Wild worship in some of those riffs.

Great stuff! Very old-school, especially the euro-metal clothing style!

I finally could get it at KIT. Nobody seemed to have it but then I finally found Rainer Krukenberg (Metaleros), who sold it. Also Hellion carried it but I saw it later on. However, the first impression is quite good, it's just a bit short maybe but better short and good than long and shitty. So no need to argue so far. I'm glad I bought it.

This is one of my favorite albums this year so far. I liked the s/t well enough, but this is in a different league for sure. "Love is Hell" chorus is awesome.

Nice work!

btw I am carrying copies for anyone who is having trouble finding it in the US. I've already sold a bunch to Chicago maniacs...

Of course, otherwise I wouldn't be glad about this buy. It was quite hard to get (one week before KIT I already tried to get it at the Metalbörse in Cologne but nobody had it) but now I finally have it. It's a bit short to be honest but short and great is much better than long and bad.

HMM.
