Yes madness...but also good for the development of fetal brains they say.

Don't you mean the "Eye Of The Storm" album with the "Ronda ala Turca" instrumental track?

Aha. I was having difficulty finding any Mozart references on the album...and now we know why! (little yellow circular smiley face)

That has to be the most often "metalized" classic ever. Though not the whole song, the basic melody was used in Rough Cutt - Take Her, Kiss - Thou Shalt Not, and also by Accept, Overkill and Blacksmith (can't remember which songs right now).

And speaking of Edvard Grieg, Kamelot adapted one of his other songs into Forever.

Helloween did it in "Gorgar" too.

Attack (ger) did it as well in the song Seven Years in the Past.

In fact they named the album after it...

Need to confess Epic Irae also (rather clumsily) used a few bars of that one in their non-classic "Insanity" (Ballet of Desolation 1989 demo)

Not common for a Thrashcore band but LUDICHRIST has covered the "Barbiere Di Siviglia" theme (Rossini) on their 2nd album "Powertrip".

I think the William's tale is my favourite of those bass solos...I have a feeling it was still called 'Sting of the Bumblebee' even if that's not the original name of the Rhimsky-Korsokov piece.
