Yeah Poison is GOD and this re-release of old stuff is excellent. I myself provided Costa with TONS of Poison scans from UG magazines and from ORIGINAL photos. So open up the gatefold sleeve and you see the 3 almost crystal clear pictures, these are scans from originals :)

Great reissue, but I don't like the front artwork Costa used. The rerelease on Midian creations, now that has a great cover, I have that one hanging on my wall actually.

P.S.: deathster, any chance of your site being translated to English? Looks mighty interesting but I can't understand shit.

Seconded! Bands presented are highly interesting, but Eesti language reads even crazier than finnish. Or you could provide us a dictionary and grammar?

Well yes... only the cover picture could have been better. "Into the Abyss" cover sucks also in my opinion.

My page translated into English? Maybe in far far future. To sum it up briefly... I have listed there ORIGINAL items I have (no copies, no mp3 nor someone elses pictures). I am sucker for deathcore and occult bands so this expalins the selection of represented recordings/items.

I like this artwork on the reissue a lot. It's surreal, twisted and evil like Poison's music. In the end it's a matter of taste...

I thought something this way when I got the 2-LP ;)
I provided Costa with the 2nd Massacre demo on the Tyrants Of Death LP/CD, as my copy sounded better than his.

By the way, I just understood Crude SS. Fucking ace Crust band from Sweden. Their 7", so much Hellhammer - Satanic Rites, and this from 1985 aaarghhhh, killer band.

I totally agree on Crude SS comment Peter. Their "Who will survive" EP is killer. I have seen that in 80s in Brazil this EP was re-released as LP with bands like Anti-Cimex and 2 more. Does anyone know about it?

To be honest I am surprised that the LP recording is done from your cassete dub... I thought original mastertapes were used. I think Massacre 1st demo is even better than 2nd. There is same riff in one song that Sarcofago used later in "Nightmare" song (accidentally I guess). Has anyone noticed this?

sorry to Humus as we are fucking his thread up ;)

I guess you don't mean the "The Vikings Are Coming" Sampler LP with Crude SS and other unknown HC bands which got released on Uproar in 1985, and re-released in 1987 in Brasil ?

What you mean by "enjoyed"?
I guess that means that it must be pretty tired i.e. was played a lot and really enjoyed. Or it was played because for some reason listener wanted to get into it (oh deer, we are there again :) ), i.e. wanted to actually enjoy it. I guess that's the reason why some lesser vinyls come often in vg condition. For ex. I haven't seen Pyracanda or Tribulation in ex cond.

"Afflicted Cries in the Darkness" was the compilation LP w/Anti-Cimex (and other Swedish hardcore greats) on it. "Vikings are Coming" offers their best tracks with unbeatable drumming. The rest of the bands are not so good, except for Fear of War, who are just all right. Both comps were put out by Brazilian labels, New Face and Uproar respectively.
