Thanks for sharing these with us glockose, it's always nice to hear some "new" old stuff.
Do you have any info on that Freeway single? It reminds me of a lot of stuff i like from that era such as early Riot (espescially on the b-side), Cain, Survivor etc. I really like the solo on side 2 as well, great stuff. What label was it on? And what are the song titles?

The auction states:
It was released independently sometime in the early 1980's
That would make more sense as to how this sounds.

It could very well be from '82 or '83 as this doesn't sound primitive enough to be from 1980, but you never know I suppose.

How could someone enter Zynom into the Metal Archives based solely off of the eBay auction when there is so little information? They took a guess that this band is from the US and that it was released in 1980. I love how accurate that is...

I've seen that happen a lot. I'll come across a band on eBay that I'd never heard of so I check M-A and someone just added it, with a pic from the auction no less.

Will definitely have to check these out later. Watertown? Man, you can find metal anywhere.

Thanks for filling in that info for me Glockose.
I'm a bit obsessive/anal (but not anally obsessive), when it comes to the details about bands/music, i think knowing a little background about a band can sometimes help me enjoy the music more. Sounds crazy, but there y'go.
I assume it was a private press too?
From the info you gave me, i found out a little more about the musicians involved.
Mike Lindsey - lead vocal
Eric Ferreri - lead guitar
Bill Villone - Guitar, vocals
David Spitz - bass (wonder if this is Dave "The Beast" Spitz, brother of Anthrax guitarist Dan, and former member of Black Sabbath, Impellitteri, Americade, White Lion, Great White and Stream.
John Campbell - percussion

And here's the cover art:
