I tried posting stuff like this a year ago and really didn't get much responce
If you get a good turn out I will start posting again
USA that sounds NWOBHM 78-81. I have tons
Post away! I only have a few USA/NWOBHM since that never really went down as a movement here in the USA, I figured combining the USA in with the NWOBHM wouldn't be a big deal. I probably should have posted the F-66 later, that kind of threw it off since I wrote NWOBHM on the topic title.

I believe all these bands from 78-81 not just in the USA, other countries as well should be counted on NWOBHM sites (just make sure you mention where it's from) because they were all influenced by the British since it all started there and you really can't lump them into some sort of different catagory...?

Thanks, I already have em on mp3. I need to find one on vinyl too.. Guess it's a pretty expensive piece?

Is there any other us metal 7'' from 78-80 that sounds anything like Axxe - Through the night?

I knew I had heard it, has been about 5 years.

Don't call it nwobhm if it isn't British, that is the 'b' on british. call it NWOUSM or something else, title is quite misleading..

Kudos to Patrik! Never heard of f-66 but it is a good song.

Never got into the Truffle 7" TBH. Too soft/laid back for me.

The Axxe single is a killer, been looking for it for a couple of years now. Used to live in Lubbock but I never came across any stshes of singles.

Playing "so far away" right now. Grrreat track.
Yes! I think it may be too "melodic" for some, but as a big fan of Magnum (obvious influence) I love it.

Sherwood is decent stuff; not a style I'm nuts about, but it's a nice record that I'd pick up if the price was right.

John- Eclipse is pretty good. I should've bid on that when you had it listed, but I was more interested in the Dead Silence single

Alkana - Welcome To My Paradise would be a great one to re-issue... but apparently Danny isn't interested...

Alkana could be considered NWOAHM (New Wave Of American Heavy Metal) like F-66, AXXE, etc...

Sorry about that, I fixed so all is clear now... bands from the NWOBHM and bands playing the same time as the NWOBHM that were influenced by it too.

Stuff like E.F. BAND, SILVER MOUNTAIN, BOW WOW, LOUDNESS, OVERDRIVE, MANILLA ROAD, HEAVY LOAD were kind of lumped into that NWOBHM influence....

Pretty good track; very nwobhm-ish. The verses are a bit rudimentary but the guitar solo is great. Thanks for posting it!
