3) The Shore Of Evening from 1985, the cover is VERY promosing, there is
unfortunately no futher information. :arrow: Don't remember it. I had heard it long time ago but i believe that it was not something special. I'll come back for this one when i'll hear it again.

4) Sunset: Forgotten Kingdom from the US (1986), GREAT cover and very
promosing. :arrow: HR/AOR. And a shitty one. Fuck it.

-> 1) Black Water: Knock Down/Power Lights 7" from Switserland (1981);
Very rare Swiss Classic Metal. Good one!

-> 2) Ransom: s/t EP from the US (198?);
Never heard of it either...

-> 3) The Shore Of Evening from 1985, the cover is VERY promosing, there is unfortunately no futher information;
Boooooooooring, too soft AOR/HEavy Rock, cover was fooling me too into buying it :(

-> 4) Sunset: Forgotten Kingdom from the US (1986), GREAT cover and very promosing
Heard it at a friends place. What ION BRITTON says.

-> 5) Rare Breed: s/t EP from the US (1987)
Great! Only 300 copies made, plain black cover, US Heavy/Power Metal with female vocals. A bitch to find.

DIVORCE is AOR/Melodic Stuff. The LP has a nice cover and comes on purple vinyl.
MENTAL POWERS is GREAT! I think one of the rarest from Greece.
COO is boring Hard Rock.
Never heard of the others, but from the band-names I'd guess they are not really Metal? (Schmetterling is german word for Butterfly). If there hides some treasure among them, let us know :)

The Molon Lave festival has been become somehow a legend here in Greece. I was too young to be there at that time, but those who did go say that it was one of hell of an experience. I really don't recall many things at the moment, i must dig up my old Metal Hammer issues for more info...

One band that i found is YOU GUYS-A Love In Armor(Greek,1983).I don´t know this band was listed in an old record shop as to the hard rock-H.M.Any idea?The price was 44 Euro.Very expensive for a so unknown eh don´t you think?Maybe it hides a surprise like BOOBY TRAP I bought which was pure great hard rock.I recently picked up some 80´s Greek Metal Magazines and was lot of information about 80´s Greek metal bands.Wait an update in the 80´s Greek bands in the M-A soon.Ah and for the last DAN said once that Greek 80´s scene was surprisingly small.Exactly the opposite,Greece hides zounds bands that had released something in the 80´s but all these bands are well hidden and very difficult to find outside Greece.Hehe :lol:

ARGUS, SYRUS and YPZILON are reviewed at The Corroseum. HELLMARK was released in '87 I think and "Japan" would imply the band is not from Sweden :P
