What I was saying was the thread you claimed would "Reappear" Will really never reappear.
AND if it did I would send you a free record.

The person who made the first post was Mad/Anger and they felt at the time they were being ripped off by "Eat More Records"

These posts happen all the time here to help others on there decision "to trust or not trust" certain dealers.

BUT since the statement was in anger AND the dealer put on blast is someone who posts here, it was taken down (never to return)

There were some problems with daniel's initial thread, but be sure that a thread about issues people have with eatmetal will not ''disappear'' and it will not be taken down ''never to return'' just because there is some kind of censorship or because we are trying to back eatmetal and ''bury'' any problems other people have with them. We are not 24/7 in front of our pc and it does take some time to sort some things out. Please understand that.

Well, unfortunately you're right about the fact that the thread won't reappear. It so happens it got deleted by mistake when it was only supposed to be moved.

The reason it was moved was (as you implied) because it was obviously written in anger, and since I haven't really given any instructions to the mods about how to deal w/ posts like these they moved it to the mod's forum for me to check out. And then it got deleted instead, when the shadow topic (that Moved: link you see whe threads are moved) were deleted.



Anyways, here's the gist of the story according to a pm from daniel:

Ok, like I said I ordered 3 T-shirts from Greg beginning of January. I ordered them online, they sent me a confirmation they had the shirts, I stressed which sized I wanted again cos people seem to make mistakes with that, and then I paid, last week I finally got a parcel, which my name wasn't written on, only the street and door number (I live in Finland, half English), anyway, only got two of my shirts(Sortilége, Brocas Helm), Manilla Road was missing. Now I've emailed several times and there's no reply, then I see Greg is posting 400 metal LP:s for sale here. If I've paid my money I want an explanation for why I haven't got what I paid for, and I shouldn't have to write over and over and over or wait for ages for a reply if the other party obviously has access to a computer and has time to post.

@daniel & anyone else: I'm reposting this as the OP of a new thread and locking this one.

Just to clarify this situation even further, I was the one that had originally moved the thread before things got out of hand. However, upon moving the initial thread I made sure to leave a "shadow thread" of the original and leave it in the original sub-forum that the thread was created in. This was done so that there was still a reference and nothing was hidden from the general user-base of this forum but at the same time us Mods could figure out exactly what happened and proceed on how to try and solve the issue without insults being thrown back and forth between the parties involved. About an hour later after having a discussion that accumulated around 20-30 posts from the moderation team we decided to leave it be until Dan was able to help us determine where to go from there. Upon having the thread moved once again, it was accidentally deleted, which for some odd reason (possibly a glitch) caused both the original thread and the "shadow thread" to both be deleted together.

Now I haven't dealt with "Eat Metal Records" myself for several years due to ending my habits of collecting vinyl to focus on another format. There was never any bias or intentions to hide what happened by any other Moderator or myself. This was just simply a situation in which there are no streamlined guidelines to follow and mistakes were made. We are now working on a system on how such future incidences should be dealt with, so that any future similar problem does not end up becoming an even bigger one and such “favouritism” acquisitions do not take place.
