I would say HELS would have done much more than 2 tracks on Klipp Rock comp and Birth Single. But generally i don´t buy compilation CD´s or LP´s.

I'm pretty sure they were a joke-band made up of Napalm Death members.

ANESTHESIA and THUNDERDOME from the "Norway Rocks" compilation deserved a record deal many times more than any other band from this silly little country. (a review is just about finished..)

First of all, i wan't to apologize that I didn't put your replies fisrt. I don't know how to put in your quotes before my reply.

I have that demo. It contains three numbers, Two of them were on the compilation cd.
I don't own a copy of the cd(I don't like cd's, so I don't have any in my collection), but I know where to find it.

Only saw that cd once. A friend of mine has it. I'll ask him to upload it.

Humus, I wonder if you can find the demo. If you want it, I'll make you a tape copy and send it too you. PM me to arrange so that I can send you one.

I forgot, I have a rehearsal tape of Death Squad too. There are only 2 copies for as far as I know. I'll put it on the tape too.

Got this from the singer of Cyclone.

I bought the Iron Tyrants comp. for their "Raven's Nest" track and, while that song is good, the band I was really impressed by was BOSS TWEED (probably because I wasn't expecting much with a name like that!) As far as I know they never even released a demo.

That brings me to a nagging question I have. How did a band get onto one of these compilation albums if they didn't have a demo?

the tracks they did on that bailey bros comp were pretty damn good... however, i'm not sure what the deal is with the several "fake" demos of them floating around are (the ones that are really an outo demo or the confuse "nuclear addicts" flexi)

I love the TAROT SUTRA track "The Fool" on Ebony's "METALLIC STORM" compilation LP.
I wish they'd done more.

Keith Kollins Krunch. Silly name, storming metal. What else did he do after Savatage?

Thanks for bumping this thread! So many other bands I could add to the list. One I just recently discovered is Teachers Pett from Metal Meltdown Vol. 4. Awesome Queensrychean metal from Seattle.

Hahahaha....looking back on this thread so many of the bands mentioned have had demos surface since. GUTWRENCH, NEPTUNE, ORIONS SWORD, SHYLOCK, MAX PLANCK, XINR, BOSS TWEED, etc.

I was thinking "theres no way in hell Dan missed the Max Planck upload!" before I realized how old the topic was. :D

Im trying to get an original SINNER demo tape (Etched in steel band mentioned earlier). Possibly MERRI HOAX too. Ill see what happens.

Yeah, the demos were fake ones. I believe the Bailey Bros comp tracks were recorded by Heresy/Unseen Terror members.

There are two bands in this category that truly where amazing and all three tracks of these two bands is completely outstanding.

The one and only, mighty LETHYL SYNN! And also swedish band Greensleeves that had two killer tracks on "Rock 82" comp.
