is the Virtue single really selling for that much these days? I've never seen it bring more than about $75 (the original of course, not the boot)

Unfortunately I think so *sighs* everything is becoming too expensive.

Everything except yellow sweatpants.
eBay vinyls can't become expensive. There are just too many fools who'll pay the big money.

The eBay market brings up prices outside of eBay as well.

130 pounds? Holy shit. That's way too expensive...
Bought mine for about 35 and that feels pretty much like the market price, at least a few years ago. Maybe a little more today, but I wouldn't paymore than 60 pounds anyway.

Yeah, I used to see this in the $35-$75 range... guess it's gone up. It is a great single, and I guess with more people getting to hear stuff via mp3/cdr, there's more demand for the original item, which is pushing up the price. Combine that w/ Black Axe's observation, which I agree with 100%, and it's a tough time to collect vinyl on a budget (great time to sell though).
Years ago (ealy-mid 90s) I traded my Soviet Invasion EP for a copy of this; the guy had two copies of the Virtue 7" but one of them skipped, so I took the other copy

SI and Virtue sold for about the same amount back then, plus SI was never a favorite of mine and I love the Virtue single, so it was a good trade IMO
