Mega-thanks for sharing the ZANITY demo, it's brilliant !! One of the best demo I've heard from Sweden.

Battleslay kicks ass! The vocals fits the music perfect and I love that guitar rhytm.

ACT: a bit boring at the beginning, but got better at the end. Especially the vocalist was great!
ZANITY was great! Rough and heavy metal!
VERDICT: good as well!
RUBICON: needs more listens

Could somebody upload this? As yesterday I finally realised how good that ACT demo is. Nice vocals, steady riffing, harmonies, solos etc. Excellent pure heavy metal.

When speaking of AKT, ACT and Zanity, don't forget the outstanding and sadly forgotten Master Massive, the band that followed after Zanity, but continued in the same style.
BTW the singer in Zanity was Tony Niva, later in Swedish Erotica/Lion's Share/Niva.
I have some great live videos with Master Massive!

As long as MASTER MASSIVE = ZANITY in style and NOT Swedish Erotica/Lion's Share I'm all ears
Just "remembered": there's supposed to be some sort of ZANITY/DETEST-connection as well, but I've forgotten the details..

Man, if you're into Zanity, it's up the same alley! They even did a re-recording of "Time Out Of Mind"! I have one unreleased album (was supposed to be released by Loud N Proud, but they went belly up), and four other demos recorded between 1988 - 1995. They're all outstanding metal!

Damn.. this just sounds too good to be true
OK, any chance we might get to hear at least one of these recordings in this thread?
(sod the 'Crapagers'-stuff, this is WAY more important!)

To be honest, I suck at the uploading-thing. I'd however be happy to copy the demos I've transfered from tape to CD-Rs and you can take appropriate action

.
I also have a 9 track demo by ACT from 1984 and a 3-track by AKT from 1985 on CD-R.
PM me.

Master Massive sounds interesting. I don't care for mp3's, but cd-r copies would be welcome.
pm'ed you, Stark.
