Running Wild - Rolling Wheels
Saxon - Wheels Of Steel
Brat - Hell On Wheels
Escape - On Wheels
Stranger - Wheels

Well, they don't have to be about the life on the road, cars or anything like that, but feel like it. I would add Paul Chain's Never Cry.

Iron Maiden - Wasted Years

Too obvious maybe and ordinarily I don't even like the song, but it's a hundred times better on a roadtrip.

Armored Saint - Reign of Fire
Griffin - Creeper
Grim Reaper - You'll Wish You Were Never Born

I think a compilation of some cool Metal anthems make a good playlist on the road.
Helloween - Heavy Metal is the Law
Holocaust - Heavy Metal Mania
Manowar - Kings of Metal
Running Wild - Chain and Leather
etc etc.

HIGH TREASON's "Saturday Night Special" always felt like the perfect song to crank behind the wheel, going off into the sunset 8)

DRINK AND DRIVE, DRINK AND DRIVE!

I have noticed that first two Omen albums are perfect driving music! It has happened atleast three times that someone has brought Omen cd to our roadtrips... Same with Sorcerer (swe).
