Lots of stuff that is simply amazing. Even the Hellion track melted my face and I didn't expect such passionate delivery there. The Corroseum has great taste!

YOU BASTARD!! How DARE you not put "Noson Y Blaidd" as the opener?!?!
Nah, it looks absolutely great. Breaks my heart that "Conjuration Of The Watcher" didn't make it though.. Friday Night Soundtrack now in download queue.
Still, there's so many great tracks (both classics & obscurities) left I really think we should conjure up a Volume II.

cool! can we release it on vinyl too? 300 copies, first 50 die hard, come with a free Louis Vitton ladies bag!
on a serious note can i recommend 2 hymns for vol2:
twisted tower dire-beyond the gates from their second demo, some of the most triumphant epic metal ever not sang by a man
and killerhawk-the king of mordor,as already suggested

The Heart track was nominated, so it was included, simple as that. Personally i think it gives the comp a little historical perspective too. Anne Wilson's got a great voice and for the mid-'70's it rawks like hell. Also, it's no accident that it appears before the Crystal Pride song, as there's a little echo of "Barracuda" in the flanged guitar part in "Silverhawk". A litttle tribute to an unlikely influence? Listen carefully to see what i mean.

That HEART song was surprisingly likeable. Got no hopes for the rest of their discog though...

Nice, time to burn a CDR for my car. I hope a volume 2 will follow, Malteze, Original Sin and more Znowhite for me please! I would put some Shelder too, but it's for special tastes only. Thanx!

Regarding Heart:
It seems you can't argue with a good song.
Nice to see most people here have open minds & ears, and aren't trapped by the need to play kvlt one upmanship.
Bravo!

So if Barracuda was originally released & recorded by Hellion or Sacred Few it would be alright then I guess??
