Roman, it's pointless trying to convince them. It's not for sensitive ears. If only one metal record could actually KILL if it became alive then that would definitely be Metal From Hell. It's a pretty hard fact, but whether you like it or not, MFH
C.R.U.S.H.E.S. about 90% of the obscure albums that are being discussed in this forum. NO FUCKIN' COMMENT ABOUT THE UNORIGINAL SONGWRITING.

I just paid out the ass for an original copy. How much is this going for these days?

One of the things I like the most of Stans Host is precisely the original song writing. Santasn Host was unique in all aspects. Sadly nothing of that remains today, their music is simply usual and common...

150 Euro for the black vinyl press. About three times more for the red vinyl edition (Original). One of those records worth every fucking single cent IMHO...

I've seen prices from 30 to 100 euros. Well worth getting for 50 I guess. It sure as hell don't
look like a bootleg anywho...
Does anyone know when the bootleg was released? I've gotten the impression that it's quite old, only a few years older than the original.

I ordered the bootleg in clear and red vinyl from Hellion, that must have been around 90-92, and I remember the clear one was advertised as "advance pressing only for the band themselves, 50 copies made".
After a while, the bootlegs were gone from the market until maybe 3 - 4 years ago the clear vinyl pressing was made widely available again. I guess a repress has been made of the Clear one, the red bootleg is hard to find now.

... and here's the ultimate Satan's Host rarity for all you maniacs, sold by the WEB records owner himself, apparently the only copy that exists:

It comes as no great surprise that greeks should be crazy about an LP like this. Now I can't really have an honest, clear opinion of this album, because I only ever listened to it once and that was several years ago. But I thought that it stunk.

Huh, haven't posted here, well, this is one of my faves. I don't care what others think of it, it has everything that makes metal supreme art: divine songstructures, a godly vocalist and a crap production that contributes to the overall rawness of this mayhemic record, it's pure molten steel.
