I voted Gordi, but my favorite yugoband is by far Bloodbath.

For me Evil Blood and Witchcraft are by far the best bands. They were definitely ahead of their time in the country, not just musicwise but also in their satanic image...If you missed them, look here and here.

Since I am from Croatia I know the scene best from the exYu territories. I am trying to get every Metal/ Hard Rock demo I know of. So here are my faves: Jersey, 7th Mortuary, Atlantida, Rosa Nera, Osmi Putnik, Dr Steel, Crna Udovica, Forces, Annabel Lee, Devastation,...

From Serbia I prefer Mortuary, Hypnosic, Atlantida, Stihija and Heller.

My faves from Slovenia are Epidemic Zone, Sarcasm and Salem.

From Bosnia I prefer Parricide and Monolit.

I'd have to admit that I'm not really into Yugoslavian metal scene, if we're talking about the Slavonic metal scene then I'll definitely go with Polish / Czech scene (Ferat, Hellias, etc.) ... but from former Yugoslavia, probably first few tracks on Crematory, but there's not a single band from here that I'd really admire.

I don't know all bands, but I voted Sarcasm. Their album blew me right away.

Ok even though I'm not familiar with some bands in this poll I decided to vote EVIL BLOOD. Simply because I cannot believe there could've been "yugo-band" that tops them. So fucking catchy and atmospheric stuff.

News: the never released Jersey album from 86 is planned to be rereleased....

HELLER was the thing. Dirty Evil Thrash Eastern-style. EVIL BLOOD weren't far away too.

About more HM bands, DR STEEL, LEGIJA and OSMI PUTNIK are the best IMO.

Evil blood is pretty good.
