BV is below average melodic metal. No wonder since both their albums came out on Metal Enterprises. The other ones I haven't heard.

Hello Dan, I have the second GALLOWS POLE lp, just in case you´re interested in trading.DaN wrote:There were a Zwiss SACRIFICE doing pretty good melodic metal on their "Altar of Rock" LP. Haven't heard the debut 12" that German band. Upload anyone?
I haven't heard much Austrian steel that impressed me. BLOWING FREE, BLIND PETITION, MANIAC and NO BROS are all below average stuff in my ears. I liked the GALLOWS POLE debut though - great epic hard rock! Anyone got their über-rare 2nd LP?
I just might be, since the review at Metalpage.de sounded very interresting. We're talking about the "We wanna come home" LP right?ErzbischofAbdullah wrote:Hello Dan, I have the second GALLOWS POLE lp, just in case you´re interested in trading.
Yes we are. Methinks it is quite a classy album, so the propaganda at metalpage.de is justified for this lp (sometimes they push even total crap there). My copy is m/m, so if you wanna have it...DaN wrote:I just might be, since the review at Metalpage.de sounded very interresting. What a blaspheme!roihlem wrote:hmmm, I think that Maniac is just average
SABOTAGE dont ring a bell, but BABA JAGA is killer Power Metal!! They only did a few tracks on Sampler LPs, no releases on their own.Fucking Åmål wrote:roihlem wrote:About the bands BABA JAGA,SABOTAGE?Anyone knows anything?
Great!!!!!Super!!Are all these 80's Releases or maybe released in 1990,1991 ?Fuck i didn't knew these bands.More More please...OmenOfSteel wrote:

Other Austrian Metal releases worth checking out (although they are not killer):
MAJESTY - DESPERATE NIGHT 7"
PEGAZUZ - END OF THE WORLD 7"
SEX TIGER - BAD BOYS OF ROCK'N'ROLL LP
STONEHENGE - VIENNA 7" (not really good, but ultra-rare, so for all of you collectors...)
I like MORTICIAN, GALLOWS END and MANIAC best. And NO BROS did an UBER-TRACK on the otherwise boring READY FOR THE ACTIoN LP called SECOND KING OF DARKNESS. CULT!
And finally a special tip for PsychoDaN:
DRAHDIWABERL -> mix of Hard Rock, mabye some Metal, and tons of crazyness. Total fucking austrian Madness...
Pegasus is form 1990, Majesty has no year imprinted, I think must be end of 80ies.Fucking Åmål wrote:Great!!!!!Super!!Are all these 80's Releases or maybe released in 1990,1991 ?Fuck i didn't knew these bands.More More please...

STONEHENGE is from 1983, but ONLY recommended for collectors (if ever seen). Musically too weak to pay a high price.Fucking Åmål wrote:From which year are STONEHENGE and DRAHDIWABERL?Is it possible to buy from Forgotten Metal Records through bank account or pay by mail(money encrypted well in the envelope)?Answer me because i need some Austrian buys for the Christmas
