+ 2... much better.. it almost give it a more realistic feel of an actual place and time.
You need to keep in mind that the lich and the dwarves was drawn in 2006 before Dimitar switched to digital. Since then his style has changed accordingly to the new medium. If he draws anything on canvas now, it will have some of the characteristics you see on his digital paintings. As well, as if you ask him, he can pull the same "canvas" realistic feeling on digital artwork and no one will ever know the difference. His style has just evolved - I dont particularly like the change either, and like his late 90s works best, but unfortunately the days he used to draw on canvas are long time gone and he is not going back to it, so I settle for what I can get.

It reminds of old Blind Guardian, with a touch of Delville here and there. Quite good.

Alright for the type of modern old school thrash those two bands play I think the digitalized artwork suits much better than the more traditional one.

I dont want to dissapoint you, but recently he turned down such request. From what I gathered he is was way overbooked up to july and has no time doing this - you can always try offering him a double fare though and maybe he can get tempted, but maybe not.

My opinion would be to try finding a conventional artist which specializes in old and grainy style, or you may end up being dissapointed even if Dimitar draws it on canvas for you.
