this slays as hell, one of my all-time faves. good example how great US-Metal with glamy elements can sound!
I have the Auburn LP too, but would also recommend the 2CD-reissue on Auburn which contains a full album of bonus tracks, incl. the 1st demo - somehow regret having sold that one when gotten hold auf the vinyl.. (still got the mp3s of it though)

off-topic: just took the LP and read the Auburn Ad that stuck in it: Shok Paris, Destructor, Purgatory, Havoc and BLACK DEATH all to purchase for $8..

Yeah, I got that insert too, unbelievable, haha. I'm only missing the original Purgatory release.

2.BREAKER: Get Tough LP: full length 1987

3.ATOMKRAFT: Future Warriors LP: full length 1985

Well, what do you think of these???
1. One of the greatest releases in the old-Fates Warning/Maiden vein. "Life" is an unbelievable track.

2. It's simply good imo. Need to get the Auburn release for the bonus tracks.

3. Not bad, not very memorable either. Haven't heard it for a very long time, my opinion might be different now.

A topnotch demo imo. Reminds a lot of early Fates Warning. Some songs even match the finest of Fates Warning especially Sleep Of Despair; the killer melody lines along with the superb vocals sent shivers.
Awesome demo, in my opinion their best work. Much better than their later LP work. I'd put it right along the lines of FW in terms of quality. Need to listen to this again.

Can't help it but I love this record to death. I'm glad I recently scored the original. Nothing sounds like them. Great and diverse US metal with a very capable singer. The song Behind Enemy Lines brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it. The rest is killer as well IMO. I only prefer the "Cleveland Metal"-version of "10 seconds In",but hell, that's just a minor thing.
I'm sure I've heard it, but I don't own it and can't remember.

I always though this to be total crap but after buying the vinyl for a few bucks and spinning it for numerous times I must conclude that I first need to listen to things before judging. I really like this record. It's nothing unique or mindblowing; it's just great speedy metal anno "one of Metal finest years" 1985. Reminds me a lot of the German speed/thrash-scene from that time.
Yeah, it's a good album but not as great as the early work or their latest work(in the 80's), which should both get a re-release(with all songs in chronological order, unlike the castle anthology, which is also lacking some awesome material).
