What do you think bands in the 80's got paid?

to be honest,if the band is not trendy/mainstream, they are pay shit, but who cares, this is about metal! money is not really that important at a certain degree,only if the band planned to live by the band

recently i saw the booklet that comes in the "Have Mercy-The years Of Mercy" Lp and they show how many times they played live as well as how much money they made out from the band , it not more than 2400 dollars

doesnt surprise me one bit that most bands dont make much from album sales. touring and other merchandise is where most bands typically draw their income
