yeah, first cruachan is solid

3rd and the mortal i really like too, although i havent listened to them in ages. their later stuff i wouldnt even call metal. are they still active?

Cruachan is well quite nice stuff, I had not heard anything from them before Day Of Darkness fest this year and I think they were very good there. One the best performances in fact.
They have some moments I dont' care so much but can't say more as I don't own any of their releases. Just one gig witnessed on my belt.

Of course they are!
I suppose they have a 'hard rock' edge about them & I guess southern rock is an extension of country music???
