Helstar's Burning Star still sounds a bit boring to me as well as Megadeth's Killing is my Business. Peace Sells is so much better. Sacrifice's Torment in Fire is good but not half as good as Forward to Termination, which is a classic.

About Riot; I like Born In America more than anything else they've released it's just great raunchy Traditional Metal that is very atmospheric (See You Burn In Me and Devil Woman). Tony Moore era is my second favourite Riot era although I do like Thundersteel and The Privilege of Power more than Restless Breed. Rhett Forrester is god to me the epitome of attitude and class.

With Annihilator although it did take me a while to pick whether or not I like the first or second album more I'm going to have to take Alice In Hell just a little bit. Don't even have a reason really just better songs.

Btw, Born in America is fuckin' great, but it still can't beat Thundersteel. As far as my taste goes, only a couple, maybe three, can actually beat it. If you come across my favorite albums list on some thread, you'll see what i mean

How could I make that mistake It's fixed now...

I like Thundersteel a lot it's great in every way but there are better high vocal late 80's Speed Metal albums. Painkiller and Nosferatu are both maybe a little better...Although Helstar are far more Neo-Classical and Priest not as cheerful in this instance all three albums rule.

Nothing really beats Thundersteel in the speed metal realm as far as I'm concerned, perhaps Assaults Survival in the Streets or Agent Steels Skeptics Apocalypse and Toxik's World Circus, Helstars Nosferatu would fit in there after those though, compare Back to Regin with Baptized in Blood pretty similar stuff which makes them go well together on a compilation I do like some more in the Vectom realm but its not the same experience as these higher vocal bands so I wouldn't really compare them.

oh yeah Fates. Night on Brocken actually has some stellar songs, absolutely amazing (Kiss of Death, Night on Brocken, Damnation) but nobody could anticipate what happened with Spectre Within.

I like Night on Bröcken too, especially the title song. Actually I never quite got into Spectre Withing, so I'd rate Bröcken higher than that one. But their absolute magnum opus is of course Awaken the Guardian.

yeah Anvil too, i have the debut album and i like it, but its nothing next to the other ones...
